Missionaries Charles and Kathleen taking a break
between training sessions at the Assemblies of God
Church at the village of Gandorhun.
Kathleen holding chart used in one
of the African Health training
sessions being assisted by
interpreter Christian Fyiah,  one of
the  leading Pastors.
The Assemblies of God Church in Gandorhun, Kono District,  in the
eastern part of the country of Sierra Leone, West Africa  where we held a
three day Training session for Pastors and Leaders.
Two elders with Pastor Ezekiel of the Assemblies
of God Church in the same village.   We were
honored with two very live chickens for our
ministry.
Charles preaching to a crowd of up to 1000 in the
village.  The "JESUS FILM" is very powerful
and draws them from all over.  Many Muslims
are converted to Christ through it.  You can see
the moon in the background.  (Christian Fyiah
interprets)
There are many children coming to the evening service.   They love
to sing and pray and are so very delightful and thankful for our
coming to visit with them.  Their smiles and welcome just touch our
hearts.
Kathleen waits with BK (SL Chief) for
groundnut stew for dinner! Oranges on the
platter.  (see cooking fire in

One of the little village girls anxious to get a
picture with Kathleen.   Saying "good-bye" until
we return again!
